TECH HYPE MEETS FARM REALITY - REGIONAL MEET UP
The Regional NSW Tech & Entrepreneurs Meetup group is a opportunity to build networks and knowledge about the start-up and entrepreneur ecosystem in the central west of NSW.
Over 70 people attended the inaugural Regional NSW Tech & Entrepreneurs Meetup, focused on Ag-Tech, was hosted by NSW DPI's GATE - Global Ag Tech Ecosystem - a newly founded innovation centre in Orange on 25 July 2018.
Guest speaker was Ben Watts, founder of Bralca, a nation wide agricultural business consultant. Ben is a leading edge farm technology adopter, with a proven history of adopting technology that is fit for purpose and not just for looks.

A partnership between NSW Department of Primary Industry DPI and Bralca supported by Innovation Central conducted a project to fast track the adoption of digital technology in agribusiness.
Innovation Central is a connected tech laboratory provided by CISCO, NSW DPI, CSIRO, NSWFarmers and the University of NSW. Its aim is to accelerate adoption of digital technology in agribusiness.
